ChromeOS / Chromium Support
I just got a new Asus Chromebook in the mail, and so far, I am loving it. It really is a typing machine. However, I have found that there is no WhatPulse for Chrome (yet?). I have already written several pages and would enjoy having an extension measuring my typage.
ChromeOS is looking to be a big player in the low-end laptop market, so I would be glad to see this developed for the people out there who have one. |

RE: ChromeOS / Chromium Support
Hi,
I'm sorry, but Chromebooks are not on the roadmap to be supported. Last time I checked, the platform requires applications to use open standards, which would make details of the inner workings of the client public, which is open up a whole world of cheating possibilities. It's sad but true, we have to defend against that. |
