2.6.1 uses high amount of 'energy' on OS X
Energy impact is given in the OS X activity monitor. WhatPulse shows here consistently as the most or second most energy using application
https://i.imgur.com/lu6B12C.png Also idly uses up to 30% cpu. |

RE: 2.6.1 uses high amount of 'energy' on OS X
Hey, I have the same problem. Currently looking if I can get an older version without that problem.

RE: 2.6.1 uses high amount of 'energy' on OS X
I reverted back to this version:
http://whatpulse.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=4622 and that seems to fix it for me. I also tried 2.4.1b4 and 2.6b5 but neither fixed it and both already had the problem. |

RE: 2.6.1 uses high amount of 'energy' on OS X
Have the exact same problem with WhatPulse 2.6.3 on OSX 10.10.5.
Always on #2 in the energy impact overview: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uxwcc3ztnfay6r...8.png?dl=0 Using the mouse or keyboard, seems to push the Energy impact right up to 20's/30's and in the meantime every key/mouse activity runs it up to 30% cpu (on a i7): https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcvy53se7korud...7.png?dl=0 Going to try that 2.4b1 to see if that resolves it. Edit: Oops, seems that 2.4 version is no longer available. Guess I'm stuck ![]() |
